Splash Mountain is a classic log flume attraction opened at Disneyland Park in 1989! Splash Mountain takes guests into the world of one of the many stories of Br're Bear, Rabbit, and Fox as they go through their mischievous adventures! After thrilling guests with its over 50-foot drop for nearly 40 years, Splash Mountain closed its door in 2023 to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure which is scheduled to open soon in Walt Disney World in June 2024 and sometime later this year at Disneyland Park. Today, May 30th, 2024, marks the first anniversary of the Splash Mountain Log Flume Attraction at Disneyland permanently closing its doors to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. While guests can no longer experience the original Splash Mountain at Disneyland, they can still visit Tokyo Disneyland where they have the newest, biggest, and only version of the Splash Mountain Attraction left in the World.

On our most recent trip to the Disneyland Resort, the happiest place on earth, we get to the park early to rope drop Space Mountain, quickly following the rushing crowds to the rides entrance. From there, we travel around Tomorrowland taking rides on Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, Buzz Lightyear: Astro Blasters, and the Classic Astro Orbitor Attraction! We then take the Monorail Around the Resort, viewing Walt Disneys Original Magic Kingdom, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney Area Construction! We then walk over to Frontierland and take a cruise around the Rivers of America on the Mightly Mark Twain Riverboat, checking out New Orleans Square, Tianas Bayou Adventure, and Much More! Finally, we end off our day walking around and exploring various parts of Disneyland Park!

Guests can expect to still get a randomized first scene, but now guests riding Star Tours The Adventures Continue are guaranteed to get a unique Holographic Communication from characters from Andor or even Ahsoka! Guests riding Star Tours The Adventures Continue are also guaranteed to get the new scene with Ahsoka where the Star Speeder 1000 flies through high in the sky with mythical flying beasts while engaging in a dogfight! The ending of the attraction is also preprogrammed as well, meaning Star Tours The Adventure Continue guests will always get the same ending when riding this attraction during the season of the force. The new Ahsoka Scene along with the unique Holograms on Star Tours The Adventures Continue are only going to be available for guests riding the attraction during the Season of the Force Celebration at the Disneyland Resort which takes place from April 5th - June 2nd, 2024. Due to this reason, Star Tours The Adventures Continue is a must-do for guests are either visiting during the Season of the Force Celebration or are huge fans of the Star Wars Franchise.

Glamour Tram Universal Backlot Studio Tour at the Universal Studios Hollywood Park in California shot in 4K 60FPS POV! The Glamour Tram livery at the Universal Studios Hollywood Backlot Studio Tour is a classic call back to the red and white striped Studio Tour Trams from the 1960s! 7 of the gas powered tram vehicles were chosen to inherit the design of the glamour trams as a last hurrah before they are fully retired over the course of the next 5 years. This only makes a ride on the Glamour Trams more unique and interesting since once Universal Backlot Studio Tours’ 60th anniversary is over, it will not only be the end of the Glamour Trams, but also all gas tram operations for the studio tour! The Glamour Trams, like Universal Studios Hollywood’s other Gas, are very loud toward the front of the tram due to the powerful gas engine they use to navigate through the backlot’s steep terrain. If you sit in the front of the Glamour Tram, you may find it hard to understand the Tour guide, however, if you sit in the back of the Glamour Trams, you will be deafened by the loud speakers since they are turned all the way up for guests sitting in the first and second vehicles. This is an experience I haven’t experience for a while since most of the trams I’ve ridden have all been electric and don’t make much noise when traversing the backlot. The Universal Studio Backlot Tram Tour’s Glamour Tram overlay is a limited time event that will last over the course of the next year or so. If you or your group wants to experience a classic ride on the Glamour Trams at the Universal Studios Hollywood park in California, we recommend you to take a trip to the park within the next 1 to 2 years!

While the first 4 Big Thunder Mountains at Disneyland Park, the Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris share many similarities, they each have their own unique twists, turns, and effects like the explosion effects only found at Disneyland Park and Disneyland Paris or the Flood Scenes found at the Magic Kindom and Tokyo Disneyland. Hong Kong Disneylands Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, on the other hand, is a completely different experience, from the story to the ride experience. Instead of going up multiple lift hills for a standard roller coaster experience, Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars has backward sections as well as a high-speed launch!
