Episode Recap:
- The ring of avarice is expensive, but if you intend to level up to the point where the game becomes less challenging, that's an essential tool you'll need when soul farming.
- Getting *a little* turned around is inevitable here. Just keep picking up keys and eventually everything will open for you.
- You don't have to open every cell like I do. If you don't see an item, move on.
The nostalgia is real, folks. I love the colors and the sounds in this level. As much as I will always love Dark Souls, Bloodborne was definitely the atmospheric successor to this game. It inherited the rich, immersive surroundings much better than Dark Souls. The bloodied cells, rusty chains hanging from the ceilings, and creepy Mind Flayers patrolling the halls really give you a sense of enclosure. This feels like a prison. Well done, FromSoft.
Thanks for watching!
