For this capacity test, I use my Fluke 287 Logging DMM to measure and log the amperage leaving the battery pack through a Deltec 100a 100mv shunt. I use the shunt because the multimeter is not rated to handle the heavy current that is passed through my dummy load. Shunts are precision equipment (Although some shunts are not built to very high quality standards) and can be trusted simply because of their simplicity. I use name brand fluke equipment because of the reliability and trust behind that name as well. Additionally I used a DC load because that will not have any AC pollution coming along with the DC waveform, so that can be trusted as well. What this boils down to is that this test has solid variables that do not bring inaccuracy into the test, so it provides a test result that you can trust.
I plan to test more products from BigBattery. I'm not 100% in trust of their products, but they are easy to work with and have been very quick to resolve any of my concerns.
