Seven Pillars of Wisdom is the second song by Sabaton on the album The Great War.
According to Joakim, the song features one of the best guitar solos they have ever composed, as well as best guitar and drum work. Chris said it's one of his favorite songs from The Great War, since he was involved in the writing process of the song. Guitar solo: Rörland. The video was shot by a Tunesian film maker Mahdi Jouini. Indy Neidell, a Swedish-American historian known from Sabaton History Channel plays the role of T.E. Lawrence in the video. The band had a car accident in Tunis when returning from the video shooting for the song in the Sahara desert. After consulting medical experts, Sabaton were forced to cancel their concert in Gdańsk, Poland on 1st September 2019 for the 80th anniversary of the World War II outbreak.
Due to the harsh weather conditions during the shoot, technical equipment including cars and generators broke down. The seven pillars on the stage with barbed wire that were present during The Great Tour are a reference to this song.
