I explore Salzburg, Austria in one unforgettable weekend! 🇦🇹
In this travel vlog I show exactly how to spend 2 days in Salzburg using the Salzburg City Card — including prices, transport, attractions and honest opinions.
Day 1 I explore the Old Town on a free walking tour, visit Sound of Music filming locations, take the funicular to Hohensalzburg Fortress and finish at Austria’s famous Augustiner Bräu beer hall.
Day 2 I dive into Mozart’s history with museums, DomQuartier and Mozart’s Birthplace before heading into the mountains on the Untersberg Cable Car for incredible views.
Along the way I also try traditional Austrian food including Bozna sausage, Schnitzel and Apple Strudel 🍺
For this trip I stayed in the Mercure Salzburg City, a great location just a short walk from Salzburg Old Town, and they even upgraded me to have a free mini bar.
