Was doing some practice and was able to get PL8-1, TAS 8-2, 8-3 FPG, and a pretty funny 8-I 8-4 in a row. Basically played a 4:54.898 from the start of 8-1! About 10 minutes after this I did the same thing except starting from 4-2, and even got perfect fast accel first room (8-A), but failed walljump. 4:54.8 soon?

The first 25: the final minute barrier for the category has been broken! This category involves visiting every warp zone in the game in a full playthrough. Of course I get this run on a day where attempts were going awful and I was upset about it when the run started lol. Anyway, this was a pretty clean run; the mistakes were minor and only lost a few seconds here and there. Theres plenty of time on the table still, but this category is starting to get fairly optimized. Id like to take another 10 or so seconds off this time someday, but Im just happy to break this final minute barrier!

First ever 20:3x and last barrier for this category! Pretty solid run but definitely had some mistakes and timesaves I didnt go for. Ill probably route some more strategies out sometime in the future and see just how far this can be pushed. Maybe a sub 20:35 is even realistic? Well see.
Also shoutouts to one frame walljump in 8-4 to clutch out the 20:3x lol.

Really good run for the category! I was on Warpless WR pace into 5-2 but went for the warp to get a super good 1 Warp time. I was still about a second or so slower than my goal time into World 8, but luckily I played a super clean World 8 and just missed my 14:0x goal by a few frames. Just need to save a couple framerules to get that last barrier for the category. Shouldnt take too long.

Got a run with BBG and 2 FPGs! This was really hard to do with the input lag. This was technically 5:01 pace into 8-4 but I played it really safe in order to just get the record back. Im hoping this run will secure first place for the World Championships (unless I beat it). I will be grinding for 5:01 now, so stay tuned.

Took way too long to get this run. Lost like 20 runs late into the run to bullshit. Glad I finally got WR even though this run sucks and Bowser stole my 10:4x. Will beat very soon.
