Week 208 – "Cultivating Character"
It seems appropriate to discuss cultivation at the start of April. Just as we prepare lawns and flower beds with water and fertilizer for the coming season, we also need to cultivate character for the coming challenges. There are many parallels!
As we go about our daily work, we are preparing ourselves for the next challenge. Because you want your lawn to look its best, you prepare for summer heat. Similarly, you should prepare yourself for challenges to your character. These challenges are not as predictable since you can’t “schedule” them on a calendar. Instead, your daily habits, the small decisions you make every day can make a difference when you assume a position of greater responsibility. Lead well this week!
