Zechariah 9:12 (AMPC)
12 Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you.

Turn- shuwb- to return; restore; refresh; repair.

Fortress- to fence; to make inaccessible; strong wall.

What is a biblical fortress?
Fortress- Hebrew- here refers to a castle or stronghold, a place of defense and protection against large-scale attacks.

Zechariah 9:12 (NLT)
12 Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.

Zechariah 9:12 (MSG)
11 “And you, because of my blood covenant with you, I’ll release your prisoners from their hopeless cells.
Come home, hope-filled prisoners! This very day I’m declaring a double bonus—everything you lost returned twice-over!

Zechariah 9:12 (ESV)
12 Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double.

Zechariah 9: 12 (NLT)
“Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”

Isaiah 49:9 (NLT)
9 I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.

Romans 5:5 (NLT)
5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Romans 5:5 (AMPC)
5 Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

ROMANS 5:1-5 (TPT)
1 Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.
2 Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory!
3 But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance.
4 And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope.
5 And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!

Romans 12:12 (TPT)
Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times.

Romans 12:12 (NKJV)
12 rejoicing in hope, patient[a] in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; God.

Romans 12:12-13 (MSG)
11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder.

Romans 15:13 (NIV)
May the God of Hope fill you will all joy, and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 25:5,21 (NIV)
5 Guide me with your truth and teach me, for You are God My Savior, and my Hope is in You all day long.
21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, [a] is in you.
