I rode my Honda Rebel 1100 for 42,000 miles over 5 years with the custom exhaust. Why? Because nothing impressed me enough to replace it — until now.
After five years of waiting, I finally installed the Miller Breaker and Miller Stormbreaker Exhaust. But looking and sounding good in the garage wasn't enough. I wanted to know what these Rebel 1100 exhausts were actually like to live with, so I put them through controlled sound comparisons and then took them on a 2,400-mile real-world road torture test.
In this video, you'll hear the Honda Rebel 1100 OEM exhaust compared directly with the Miller Breaker and Miller Stormbreaker using the Standard Baffle, Racing Baffle, and no Baffle. Then we leave the controlled testing behind and take them on the road to answer the questions that matter to me: How does it sound while actually riding? Is it comfortable over hundreds of miles? Which baffle would I choose to live with? And after waiting 42,000 miles… was changing the exhaust actually worth it?
The 2,400-mile test also didn't go entirely according to plan.
