I have been planning this project for a little while but avoiding it due to its size. This piece came from the boxelder I milled with the chainsaw back in the summer. It was the largest piece that I salvaged. The blank started out 16” wide and 3.25” thick. It was turned outboard on my central machine 12-36 lathe. It’s finished with mylands sanding sealer and Ack’ Abrasive and polish/restoring pastes.
