The Nexus is the result of not only our own internal gear wants, but we also took into consideration the years of feedback from everyone that's bought a custom pack with custom features!
This is our first scratch build in nearly a decade and we couldn't be happier.
The Nexus is the lightest pack in our line-up weighing under 19 ounces with removables detached like the removable sternum strap: 0.8 oz, removable shock cord system: 0.7 oz, and removable foam back panel: 2.2 oz
If you're really itching to shed some weight the Nexus can be ordered without a hipbelt which brings the total pack weight to just 15.4 ounces!
Thank you to everyone that asked about a hip beltless option, we listened!
This is the first pack in our line up that utilizes eco-friendly UltraGrid fabric, which is a Bluesign® Approved material from @challengesailcloth , made from recycled nylon, and free from harmful PFCs.
If you want a more water resistant option, ULTRA Xâ„¢ 200 fabric is 15x stronger than steel by weight, waterproof to 200 psi, and twice as abrasion-resistant as standard nylon.
With a new shoulder strap design meant to be a hybrid of our S + J style straps, a new side pocket pleat design meant to hold water bottles more snuggly, the ability to fit a BV500 vertically inside of the pack, sewn in top y-strap, and two utility pockets made of UltraStretch mesh, the Nexus is the most feature heavy frameless pack we've ever built.
Now available in: Silverado Ultra X, Dark Chili UltraGrid, Tangerine UltraGrid, and Black Beauty Ultragrid.
