You guys, I am SO RELIEVED that I have my Waterfall Acrylics Facebook page back! I accidentally removed myself as the Admin—never do that! Anyway, a month of angst is over! Plus, we brought Finn home! Man I wish I had his energy! We are in the midst of potty training and crate training—it’s almost like having a newborn LOL. If I seem a bit distracted during this video, I was! This was supposed to be a deconstructed bloom with only two blooms; but I took a risk with the center of this and it paid off—I really like this one and hope you do too—they hubby said it’s my best yet but I think he’s just partial to the color palette. I’ll let you be the judge—let me know in the comments! Check out the bloom recipe below.

Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the substrate:
PPG Multi-Pro in Eggshell.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe—mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); JoSonja Gloss Varnish 2:1 ratio paint to varnish. Mix well.
Brands/Colors mixed:
DaVinci Fluid Acrylics In Payne’s Gray, This Little Piggy (TLP) pigments in Zeus; Golden Fluid Acrylics in Naples Yellow Hue and Titan Buff.
Golden and Da Vinci Fluid Acrylics-- I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade. Mix well.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick then I'll add a teaspoon of varnish/water to thin. (I make a bottle of "Jo-Wa" by adding 1/3 JoSonja Gloss Varnish and the rest water, and keep it in a squeeze bottle and use as my "water.")
All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator Color:
Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Lamp Black and Titanium White. 3:1 ratio Floetrol to paint.
