For some time this EX-San Jose 40/60 split Labrie has been on the food waste route. I was expecting a MSL but of course the time I have a tripod and I want to film a truck “professionally” it doesn't come. I did film this truck with Kenny (Kennys Trucks). Now for some more info on this truck. When Green Team of San Jose got their contract renewed the city(s) wanted their fleet all CNG,so Green Team had had a good number of Diesel trucks. Pretty much what Green Team did is ask all the WC yards in CA and surrounding states (Green Team is a WC co.) if they wanted their “old” trucks. Most of these trucks had fewer than 100K miles and were kept in great condition.
The El Dorado Disposal yard asked and received one of these 40/60’s even tho we really did not need one. I know and filmed multiple other trucks that came from this “hand out”. This truck usually lid flips but it depends on the driver. This driver likes to keep this truck in nice condition as he was the one that drove the 3+ hour journey in this truck. This truck still looks fresh after about 16 months that shows how little we use this truck but soon that should change as in the next month it's going on a route in Grizzly Flats,ca which is about 30 mins. from the yard and about 1 hour from my house so I probably won't get to film this truck for some time. But I might have to as the streets are SO narrow it will make for an interesting video.
Big thanks to the driver and all the work he does.
