October 2024 , 4 woodturners went on a road trip joined occasionally by a fifth turner, we travelled the west coast of Ireland including part of the ring of Kerry, we had an absolutly great time that needs to be repeated!!
I will admit that I have not been turning much lately, unfortunatly work has been incredibly busy
Anyway Enjoy this conversation with Jenny, We sure did. I only wanted an ice cream and ended up with Irish coffee !!
I have been woodturning since 2013, I love it as a creative outlet.
For me it has been a journey, from my great great grandfathers wooden bowl that i own to my fathers the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidelines.
use channels such as mine as inspiration and entertainment.
it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
most of all remember to be creative and have fun
