Pete Vree | 4 to 20 mA PLC & HMI Program to display the output of a DP Cell (Part 1) @PeteVree | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 1 day ago
Full Siemens TIA Portal PLC Programming Course available here: https://petevree.thinkific.com/courses/siemens-tia-portal-plc-programming
This video will walk through our Week 5/6 lab in which we have calibrated a DP Cell to output a 4-20mA signal corresponding to 10-50 cm in the tank.
Next step is to create a PLC/HMI program to display the values coming back from the sensor and allow us to control the 0-5 V DC signal to the pump vfd.
This video will walk you through how to display the identical 4-20 mA current within your PLC program using the NORMx and SCALEx functions.
Note: Actual code for those not in our class starts at 26:00
Part 2 is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjEvaZ8jAs8
