The Mazzei Formula Seven starts up on a new 4 rotor peripheral port engine by Eccentric Motorsports and Chips Motorsports. The 4 rotor engine, originally assembled by P.P.R.E, failed from many internal design mistakes and negligence. Zachariah, Klint Richardson, and Chip Ursu fixed the short-block. The crank shaft was blueprinted, rotors properly balanced and clearanced, and the once leaking peripheral ports were sealed with the only proper method, billet aluminum o-ringed inserts. The Mazzei Formula Seven features a much larger turbo charger, the new Generation 2 Garrett GTX5533R ball-bearing, on a new 321 stainless, equal length, large diameter runner, Morgan Performance Fabrication manifold. The engine now features the Weldon mechanical fuel pump, and an upgraded water and oil system. Special thank you to J.D. Durham, owner of Krowrx, for his tremendous work on the chassis, preparing the front end for the new powerplant, and his relentless help and obsession with this project. So much more to come.
