Metallica vs Megadeth. Both have sold millions of albums, though the former has way more. And their most selling albums demonstrate it best: Metallica Black Album (17 million, US only) goes 9 times better than Megadeth Countdown to Extinction (2 million). Dave Mustaine's goal was to beat Metallica. But still Megadeth couldn't catch up. Here's several possible reasons.
