Principles of an 8 frame(Doubles) 4 legged run cycle. 8 frames is a bit fast, but the basics shown here can easily be modified- The idea is not for people to try and copy the frames as I have done them. Add more placements for the feet so its 10 or more frames, make sure the hip and chest movements can match those placements, modify the timing of the front and back legs and how much both sets are offset as you see fit.

My methods are not absolute, this is just to show the principles and elements to take into account when doing a 4 legged run cycle and as an example of how to animate these elements.
