Wire Tensioning System Using Nails and Hex Nut - Fence Wire Tensioner
How to tighten the wire for the fence.
In this video tutorial, I’ll show several ways to use a standard wire fence tensioner, as well as an excellent trick using two nails to tension the wire and a hex nut to lock it in place.
⚠️ Safety note: When using nails for tensioning, I recommend cutting off the sharp tips to avoid injuries. Ideally, use regular metal rods with blunt ends instead.
