I was in Vegas for 4 nights attending a Travel Advisor Conference. It was super busy but super fun!
Las Vegas offers a wide variety of attractions beyond its famous casinos and entertainment shows. Here are some other unique experiences to consider:
High Roller Observation Wheel: This giant Ferris wheel, located at The LINQ Promenade, provides panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and beyond. Standing at 550 feet, it's one of the tallest observation wheels in the world.
Gondola Ride at The Venetian: Visitors can experience a little slice of Venice by taking a gondola ride through the canals of The Venetian Hotel. The gondoliers serenade passengers as they float along the replica of Venice's Grand Canal.
Fountains of Bellagio: One of the most iconic sights in Las Vegas, these fountains perform a choreographed water show set to music. The display occurs regularly throughout the day and is a must-see, especially at night when the lights enhance the experience. This is great during the day and even better at night.
Other fun and exciting activities on the Strip include:
The Neon Museum: This outdoor museum preserves and exhibits iconic Las Vegas neon signs from the past, offering a glimpse into the city's vibrant history. This was a quick view of 30 minutes.
The Mob Museum: Officially called the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, this interactive museum takes a deep dive into the history of the mob in America and law enforcement’s efforts to combat it.
The STRAT SkyPod: The STRAT Hotel offers thrilling experiences atop its 1,149-foot tower, including the SkyJump, Big Shot, and Insanity rides for adrenaline seekers. I enjoyed this.
Maverick Helicopter rides - I highly recommend this!
Beyond the Strip, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam are great natural attractions for those looking for outdoor adventures near Las Vegas.
