It’s no surprise that many successful MLM companies have based themselves in Utah (for example, Doterra, Young Living, Jamberry, NuSkin) - the people of the area are highly religious, 89% Mormon, and used to defending and sharing their faith. MLMs have stolen common defenses for Christianity and are now using them to defend their tactics and business model. In my video I discuss specific arguments used in apologetics and how MLMs are now using these same arguments to recruit vulnerable people into their scams.
