Vintage Review: The nerf 1997 Maxxforce Electric Eel blaster Hartley Ju Nerf 2017-06-03 | Hello guys, and this is the Nerf 1997 Maxxforce Electric Eel blaster. It's one of the first clip loading blaster, and the clip ascends by itself. When it first arrived, the blaster was not in good condition due to the delivery. The front end was shattered into pieces. Luckily I still have the pieces, and I put them together like a jigsaw puzzle. After I fixed its cosmetic issues, I discovered that its light effect also did not work. That's probably due to long time in the factory. It's ranges are bad too. Anyway it's not a perfect blaster, but so is any vintage nerf blasters. Nerf Mod:gear- up twinshock (lava outburst style paint job!) Hartley Ju Nerf 2017-05-28 | Music: Believer ( Kaskade Remix) by imagine dragons.This is the Painted Twinshock with a lava outburst style paint job. (the name came to me naturally don’t ask why :D) It’s possibly the first twinshock mod ever made.When I opened the shell, it was not functional because the lock was blocking the priming bar. So I bravely sawed off a part of the lock and secured the rest with hot glue gun. Really useful. I gave it a Tamiya black base coat, and a Tamiya Metallic Orange top coat. Then I used an oily marker to paint the MEGA and NERF logos, along with the TWINSHOCK one. After I gave it a Tamiya clear coat, something magnificent happened. There were cracks on the logos, and it turned way better than I had ever anticipated!

Nerf Mod: the Nerf Inquisitor( Xzeus with Artifact hunter kit) Hartley Ju Nerf 2017-03-13 | All materials used:Jet Blasters Xzeus ShellNerf longshotWill’s 14 KG main springArtifact hunter SL kit.Artifact metal longshot trigger.Citadel paints ( base)assorted paint brushes.It wasn’t as difficult as I had expected, but for many times I was on the edge of giving up. First of all, the installation of the Artifact hunter kit was very difficult because it isn’t compatible. I had to polish manually the inside of the shell to get it fit in.Secondly, the catch spring was easy to fall off and you had to keep an eye on it all the time. I used the Big Hammer one because its bar with the spring was slightly wider so it has more friction. I would really be looking forward to a replacement spring of the catch though.Thirdly, the Artifact Aluminum barrel was horrible. Darts got stuck it it, and you have to use a metal rod to get them out.I also lost the securing bar of the stock, but that was no big deal anyway.Thanks for watching!
