For my speedcubing background and knowledge (up-to-date when you're reading this):
As of October 2024, I've been speedcubing for the past six years at least. I just never bothered to upload any solves until today. I first learned Roux, but I switched to CFOP because the world record — which at the time I switched was still a 3.475 — uses CFOP. I can still do Roux, though. I'm not very advanced with CFOP, I can't do things such as look ahead, and I always do double recognition. I use 2-look OLL, but apart from the 10 algorithms used in it, I know four full OLL cases. And for PLL, I'm only four away from knowing all 21 algorithms. The four I'm missing are all four G perms, and for those, I do a J perm first, then I get either a Y perm or an F perm — both of which I know how to do. Although I know both A perms, I have trouble knowing which one to do, so I usually do two J perms. I rarely speedcube nowadays, and I average ~30 seconds.

My goal is to get sub-30*, and I'll be very happy when I do.
*I remember getting a sub-30 with a PLL skip, but I'm not 100% sure — I know with 100% certainty of the PLL skip, though.
