Algorithm for the Cross:
Get a solved 3x3 cube and from any side facing you... U F B' L2 U2 L2 F' B U2 L2 U
To undo the Cross pattern and resolve the cube, just do the same algorithm... **(Make sure you start with the same sides and colors you originally had or you'll get yourself into a loop) U F B' L2 U2 L2 F' B U2 L2 U
