Welcome to the fourth generation of the Sakura drift platform from 3Racing...the Sakura D6 Sport! Highly anticipated this year as the successor to the Sakura D5 platform, the D6 has gone through quite a development process, which actually involved quite a bit of the drifting community's input. Even I offered up some ideas and thoughts because I have owned every generation of the Sakura drift platform (D3 from 2012, D4 from 2015 and D5 from 2020) and still currently own many of them to date. Amazingly, 3Racing took everyone's data into consideration and even engaged in conversations and replies on Facebook etc which I enjoyed reading. I ended up pre-ordering both the Sport and GA versions of the D6, so many videos are to come. I have high expectations for this car because the Sakura D5 was a winner out of the box in 2020, you can check my videos in my library :) I have also been reading some information from drifters who got their kits earlier then we did in Canada, early news is good with a few noted items during building and initial shakedown driving. I will be building my D6 cars into box stock form, then modifying them down the road, as per tradition. Others that ordered at the same time I did are planning to tune their cars immediately during building, so the comparisons will be awesome :D Shoutout to Sam of Team Rentless for managing our group buy and Bryant of Team Relentless along with Phil B. for loaning me their D6 kits (D6 GA Blue) for filming before they take delivery :D The unboxing is a long one so get a snack or two with a drink :D Thank you all for watching!
