This shows a great way to set up your loops to start a 3-loop braid with no loose ends at the top of the braid. (there are several other ways to do this that I describe in my blog). The way I start there will be a loop or buttonhole at the top. (no slo-mo braiding instruction, see my first two 3-loop videos for that) This way of starting with no ends can also be done with more loops --just make one bunch of the left loops and link the right loops--however many--around them. This method doesn't work with bicolor loops.
