I've been super busy with my own projects and dying. Excerpt from the pack: I browse thrift stores looking for odd cassettes occasionally. On one certain day, I found at least 7 or 8 blank tapes with a bunch of pre-recorded songs, albums, voice mails, and other personal mementos. The owner of the thrift store gave all of them to me for free and I spent a good 3 hours digging through each one and finding what was on them. This by far was the most entertaining one. There’s several times where the DJ says “a beautiful Labor Day.” There’s also an ad for 7Eleven coffee mugs for 1996, so that’s where I’m getting the dates for this. This could also be 1995, given how late in the year it is for them to be advertising 1996 mugs. I wouldn't know, I would have been but a mere less than a year old infant at the time these were broadcasted. Yes, there was actual music recorded with this as well, but I edited it all out. It's worth mentioning that this was a two sided tape, but my cassette deck's play head died right in the middle of recording this, so I never recorded Side A.

I played it back in a Yamaha KX-W492 Cassette Deck, recording it to my Zoom H5. I'm not sure why the sound balance was so off, I haven't had this problem before with things I've recorded to cassette. It wasn't my cassette deck, as this sound balance was an issue across multiple tape players. I re-balanced it in Audition though so you weren't assaulted by the album in the left ear.

[Art] How I Make Art of Ash RezDragon 2023-12-16 | I made a new character recently that I'm very obsessed with (if you couldn't tell). Thought it'd be neat to see how I actually go about making art of her.I have no experience with 3D modeling and am unable to draw people, so Ash is a character designed in and made with Photoshop painting and photomanipulation. I did retexture Joker to give myself a base to work with, but due to the limitations of SSBB textures and there not being any model edits, the face texture becomes very muddled on close ups. To remedy this, I just redraw Ash's face in Photoshop. And I always redraw Ash's hair, since her's is longer and more disgusting. So yeah, Ash is a character I create with Photoshop and I have a lot of fun making art of her.
