I updated again both variants, trying to follow community feedback a lot of issues went fixed!
The track scale now makes sense, also the track lenght was shortened.
The moon craters were shortened too and the long jump is removed
One of the cannons got removed
those were the main issues with the track, but also i improved a lot the visuals and added shadows!

The video was recorded in Mario Kart Wii Deluxe v9.3, a pulsar based distribution, please note the minimap colors might not be available in other non pulsar based packs, also this track makes use of unused area 0x0B, you can go check the video @Wingcapman did on the topic to learn more on how does it work and use the codes given there if you want to give it a try!

The area is only used on the moon section and not the entire track.
