The original Tabernacle, as described in the Book of Exodus, was a portable sanctuary built at the base of Mount Sinai. This sacred tent traveled with the Israelites until the Temple of Solomon was completed. Made from finely twisted linen in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, along with goat hair curtains, the Tabernacle was supported by acacia wood frames with silver bases. A symbol of faith and devotion, it served as the heart of Israelite worship.
