In this video, we will make a scan with a Huawei GSM phone, the Mate 20 Pro

This phone has a built-in scanner at the front that projects infrared laser beams with a projector and then with both the regular camera and an infrared camera views this projection and builds up a 3-dimensional image.

After scanning, the image can be viewed all around in the software, but you can also make an export out of it that can be used as a 3D object for editing and printing.

The software used is supplied as standard on the Huawei Mate 20 pro phone and is optimized to work with the sensors and cameras that this phone has. In addition to this telephone, you do not need anything else to scan.

In the next video, we will look at the scanned file and see if we can make a beautiful, detailed print from it.
