Printing a tooth from the prehistoric shark known as Megalodon on my Ultimaker 2!
Filament : White XT by ColorFabb
Model name:
Giant Prehistoric Shark Tooth!
Thingiverse: thingiverse.com/thing:56127
0.25mm Nozzle,
Printed at scale,
layer height 0.1 mm,
50 mm/s,
10% infill,
250c on nozzle,
70c on the bed,
fan at 100%.
As always used hairspray for bed adhesion!(Clynol Ultra Strong Hold)
I printed this with my smallest nozzle to get the most detail but i'm sure that was completely unnecessary as a 0.4 nozzle would be more than good enough. But the tooth turned out great! Looks awesome! I'm glad the Megalodon is extinct as it was a monster of great proportion!
