Architects Kei Atsumi and Nicolas Preaud spend 3 years doing research so they can use desktop 3D printers to make components that are assembled to make a small teahouse. Using woodfill PLA and without any fixtures or the needs for tools they may have come up with a new way to make 3D printed houses.
Jabil and Natureworks have developed a powder bed fusion powder out of PLA.
