Hanging a camera on the ceiling to use it as an overhead camera or for some special shots can be challenging. You have to find a way to get a 3/8" male screw out of the ceiling to mount the ballhead you are going to use.

With this 3D printed adapter it is very easy to mount a ball head (or any other accessory that uses a 1/4" or 3/8" threaded screw hole, to a ceiling or shelf. Just put a 1/4" bold through the centre hole and mount the adapter with four screws.
