In this Video, I demonstrate how to make a hobbed bolt with my Hobbed Bolt Maker. The file is on Thingiverse to use. This may not work with all hobbed bolts, but it is meant for M8 or 5/16th sized bolts. What you need to do is line up the bolt into your extruder and mark a line where the filament will travel on the bolt. Line up the bolt in the maker using various washers to make the gap the correct length for the tap to line up properly.
