In this video we demonstrate the hand detecting an object and closing around it, all using ROS. Each finger moves independently until a predetermined force threshold is reached. On the screen we can see the object detection part of the demo. The hand will remain closed while the object is detected. The hand will open if the object is taken out or the respective command is given.
