HMS Victory is based in Portsmouth and was Admiral Nelson's flagship at the 1805 battle of Trafalgar. GSS/DJA carried out a detailed laser survey as part of an ongoing renovation and restoration project. Overnight, a series of high resolution (50 million pixels per scan) laser scans were completed, allowing an accurate map of locations for fittings to be created. The scan data was collected with Faro LS880 and Mensi GS200 scanners, tied together with Leica TS1302 total station readings to the ship's datum.
