Cell culturing is a technique used by biologists to conduct research on tissue samples in the lab. A Purdue team has successfully demonstrated 3D cell culturing originating from an individually selected cell, showing that it is possible to re-create a cancerous tumor that which displays the same characteristics as the original tumor.
