And we're kicking things off with the finale of Superstar Saga! I aimed to make this a mix between the GBA version and the 3DS version, so the arrangement starts off simpler like the original version, and evolves to add the fuller guitar and strings from the remake later on. I also got a comment around when I was about to work on this that said, "It's not the same without the whistles," and frankly I agreed. So rather than the more orchestral melody I went with last time, I decided to reduce it down to just the whistle to be more true to the original arrangement.
The Beanbean Kingdom countermelody I added last time has also been moved from a french horn to a pan flute like the original track, and I changed the rhythm to be much closer to what it originally was as well, so now it's very clear what motif that is! I think those changes better fit this arrangement too.
