Here's a quick tip showing a homemade adjustment gauge for an adjustable coil vertical like the SuperAntenna MP1 shown, which is one of the antennas I carry for POTA activations. The same type of gauge can be made for antennas such as the Wolf River Coil and others. Of course, this assumes that you've already measured and documented the coil tap positions for the bands you choose to operate on. The coil shown in the video is part of this antenna:
