Lisebergbanan, or the "Liseberg Rail Line" is a train-themed ride on the side of a hill at Liseberg, a theme park located in the middle of Gothenburg, Sweden. The park had planned for a roller coaster by the manufacturer "Vekoma," but Anton Schwarzkopf, one of the most famous roller coaster engineers ever, came to the park with a custom design. The build was purchased by the amusement park, and the roller coaster became Anton Schwarzkopf's favorite design he had ever done. The roller coaster opened in 1987 and has been regarded as a 'true classic.' Schwarzkopf passed away in 2001. His designs are still considered to be some of the most-smooth and well-built attractions ever made.
