I have been doing more aluminium machining lately on my 3040 CNC (see more here: diy3dtech.com/purchase-3040-cnc-router ) and want to add a cheap mister however wanted to make removable to used my dust collector with doing wood or plastic so I designed this collar which cinch and mounts with M5 Bolts as to mount the Mister (see more here: amzn.to/2WP0e0p ) you will need some 25mm long M5 (see more here: amzn.to/2xPipdX ) bolts and to cinch the collar you will need another two M5 bolts around 12mm long (see more here: amzn.to/2WhmVez ). Now I used PETG as I wanted it to be strong and Overture PETG (see more here: diy3dtech.com/petg ). Also note that all four are threaded and you should with no more then 0.2mm layer height and you can also clean up the threads if need with a metric tap set (see more here: amzn.to/2zy6TEl ).
As far as providing "air" for the mister, California Air Tools provides one of the best options for the hobbyist being a quiet, cost effect and reliable solution. The compressor we are using is the: amzn.to/3bmS5Wg which is a steel dual tank, however if your seeking a more cost effective solution, their single tank version (see more here: amzn.to/3dHC3rv ) can work in lower cycle time applications.

![Shop Talk - Frustrated By CURA Once Again!
In this episode, we will be talk about how once again I am being frustrated by CURA! I like a lot of the new features they have added yet once again I am getting strange results and when I switch to KISS (Slicer) using all of the same setting to out come is perfect. Now it doesnt seem to do to all models just some like this one. I thought I screwed up and printed it several time, and all of them (yes all of them) failed. Its a simple puck object, yet the bottom layer just did not want to go down nicely. I have in the past run into bugs with hidden features which can not be unhidden being an issue and maybe this is yet again that problem, its just frustrating....

![At The Printer - Talking TPU Tips and Tricks!
This video will start a new series titled At The Printer where we spend a few minutes discussing what we are printing, the material which I am using, interesting slicer settings and the like to help you better understand 3D printing, the material selection process and slicing challenges beyond the norm.
In this video we will be discussing my second favorite plastic being TPU (the first is PETG and Third PLA while ABS is way at the bottom). Here we are using our highly modified Wanaho i3 (see more here: https://amzn.to/2XeVyRL ) and as covered in the video we using a Phenolic Bed (see more here: https://amzn.to/2Zq6E9i ) with a knock off E3D all metal hot end (see more here: https://amzn.to/2z9IpBz ) and highly recommend Capricorn PTFE tubing (see more here: https://amzn.to/2ymxvIb ). The TPU we are using is SainSmart (see more here: https://amzn.to/2Zv6hKF ) which we highly recommend.
