His career has evolved from a strong construction background, to real estate, to early LEED expertise, to starting his own business, to buying a business, and now to co-founding two technology companies - all in the built environment.

Weve got to fix efficiency first, because all were going to do is get battery-driven excavators[,] have them drain a battery and then charge them on electrical grids which could be produced by anything. Could be fossil, could be hydro, could be any number of things. But it all starts with reduce, reduce. And we have got to get better at that. And if you dont have the tools to do it, then youre not going to do it.”
