Flash floods triggered by a massive ice avalanche along the Nepal-Tibet border have devastated parts of northern Nepal, leaving around 800 people missing and at least 188 bodies recovered. Rescue teams are searching across affected districts, while families continue to register missing persons at help desks in Kathmandu. Scientists are still investigating what caused the massive block of ice to fall into the river and trigger the devastating surge downstream. Akanksha Mishra reports from Nepal
