What began as an ad slogan for the 1955 #chevrolet featuring the new and revolutionary (for the time) small block V8 engine, "Stealing the thunder from high-priced cars." Thirty years later, in 1985, Chevrolet celebrated the 30th anniversary of the "new and revolutionary" small block V8 engine. To add to the occasion, Chevrolet was the featured automotive division at the 1985 Specialty Equipment Market Association’s annual SEMA Show. Chevrolet also released this promotional video presenting every Chevy vehicle that sported the "winningest and most popular V8 engine of its time."

Do you have a favorite of the "30 Years of Chevy Thunder" vehicle? 1963 Chevy Bel Air, El Camino, or the Chevy Corvette? Let us know in the comments below.
