Fortunately enough, the 356 does not drive like the Beetle. The Porsche treatment was well applied. For obvious reasons, this car will be slower than your parents trying to text. But it is such an easy car to drive. The 356 feels very light, nimble, and the little engine will do everything to remind you that it used to be quick. Overall, it is quite a cool and fun weekend car. No wonder, many are driven during vintage rallies and races. The car is bulletproof and it is quite cheap to run.
