In this episode, we venture deep into Montana’s Gravelly Range on snowmobiles, heading 30 miles out to a remote, century-old backcountry cabin at 8,500 feet. With snowy weather in the forecast, challenging trail conditions, and a few close calls—including a lost sled pin and an exhausting final push through deep powder—we finally reach the cabin just before dark. Over the next two days, we explore the terrain on splitboards, soak in dramatic alpine views, and cook up a legendary mountain meal using the “Hot Dogger” muffler cooker. It’s a winter adventure packed with rugged travel, big laughs, and classic backcountry grit.
