Want to learn how to make a color wheel? How about how to make a color chart? Let's do both! We'll also dive into more color theory to get your ready to mix your own colors! This is the first video in our September 2017 30 Days of Art!

For these projects, you'll need:
• Color Wheel and Color Chart templates printed on cardstock
• A few extra sheets of cardstock
• Small paint brushes (I used 1/2-inch angle and #8 bright, but it doesn't really matter)
• 2 jars of clean water
• Paper towels
• A marker or pen
Paint colors needed:
• Primary Red
• Primary Blue
• Primary Yellow
• Your preferred color palette. For the month of September, my color palette consists of Liquitex Heavy Body paints in the following colors:
• Cadmium Red Medium
• Alizarin Crimson
• Cadmium Yellow Light
• Yellow Oxide
• Ultramarine Blue (Red Shade)
• Phthalocyanine Blue (Green Shade)
• Burnt Umber
• Unbleached Titanium White
• Titanium White
• Mars Black
Your palette can consist of any colors you like, though for the month of September, I challenge you to limit it as much as you're comfortable with, and try to stick to that palette throughout the month.
