Lyf Uninterrupted takes on their first 30 day desert boondocking challenge in the beautiful desert of Arizona. This is our first time boondocking for this amount of time and we have some tips, tricks, hacks and cost savings to share with you along the way. Free BLM camping in Arizona is plentiful and we plan to take advantage of what's available in Quartzsite, Parker and Lake Havasu. The Southwest offers some of the most beautiful and wide-spread (open) BLM camping you can find.
How did we fare on propane, water, food and electricity? We'll share it with you along with what it costs us to do this. Imagine having the beautiful, expansive, open desert as your home base for 30 days. Best of all, it's FREE camping! Living in the desert may sound challenging to some, but it's something we are absolutely loving. Boondocking doesn't have to be scary, it just has to be planned for, especially if you plan to do it for a longer length of time. Brian removed our regular RV toilet and put in place a Nature's Head composting toilet. This has allowed us to boondock, off grid, for a lengthy period of time. It has allowed us to conserve water and significantly reduce the need to dump our gray tank. Watch the video to find out how we've been able to boondock without needing to dump!

Explore the enchanted land left behind from ancient volcanos in Enchanted New Mexico. We take day hikes to the extinct Bandera Volcano that has forever changed the landscape with endless lava flow, lave tubes, ice cave and twisted wood. We explore the Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks, near Santa Fe, resembling giant tee-pees carved out of the mountainside from rich, volcanic activity in the area. New Mexico is home to many extinct volcanoes that literally turned this land into fire and ice.
Tour the Bandera Volcano and Ice Cave to experience the fiery flow from the now extinct volcano and ice cave created from a 17 mile lava tube.
Tour the Kasha Katuwe Tent Rock National Monument to experience the aftermath of volcanic eruption and ash that created huge formations resembling tee-pees or tents. Walk along a beautiful and narrow box canyon on the Kasha Katuwe trail and climb 600 feet to experience some of the most magnificent views of the valley overlooking Kasha Katuwe.
These hiking locations are in or near the Santa Fe area and can be done as day hikes. New Mexico is ripe with several extinct volcanos, lava gardens, lava tubes, sinkholes, tent rocks and other beautiful formations.

Riding Lectric XP bikes (eBikes) over the Great Allegheny Passage Trail in Pennsylvania. We show you how they perform. The Great Allegheny Passage Trail (GAP trail) extends 150 miles from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Washington, DC and is a bike (especially eBike) riders dream! We rode a short portion of the GAP trail where we encounter numerous bikers, hikers and river rafters. Beautiful scenery along the GAP trail takes you from wooded splendor to river rapids, waterfalls to quaint towns like Confluence & Ohiopyle, and old wooden bridges and passageways. Many quaint little towns, like Ohiopyle, are found along the Great Allegheny Passage Trail (GAP) for you to explore and enjoy. We especially liked Ohiopyle for its small town feel and accommodations for bikers. During our tour of Ohiopyle, we were stopped many times to answer questions about our Lectric XP eBikes. Many visitors actually thought the bikes were for rent! Surprisingly, very few riders on the GAP trail and in town had electric bikes (eBikes). We show you the beauty of this trail, we shoot the rapids and encourage you to explore the GAP trail when you have the chance. The Great Allegheny Passage trail (GAP) is a bucket list location especially if you own an eBike. Check it out!
