Here is a quick compilation of three years and three months of progress I've seen while training as a natural weightlifter.
Some of the lifts, such as the deadlift, progressed faster than is shown in the video. I hit a 5 plate pull in October of 2016, and focused my efforts into my bench, and especially my squat, which were lagging behind.
This is a one-off video. I will not be making regular gym videos to try to keep the focus to music/video. But it's been a journey I wanted to share with you. If you have ever thought about joining a gym do it now and set a goal. Let's start a revolution of jacked audio engineers.
Lifts when I started, November 11, 2013:
Bodyweight ~150 lb / 68 kg
Squat - 132 lb / 60 kg
Bench - 110 lb / 50 kg
Deadlift - 176 lb / 80 kg
Current lifts after 3 years, 3 months:
Bodyweight - 196 lb / 89 kg
Squat - 405 lb / 184 kg
Bench - 315 lb / 143 kg
Deadlift - 495 lb / 225 kg
No program or diet was followed. My mantra was train heavy, consistently, and eat more.
Supplements I take:
- Whey Protein
- Creatine
- Beta Alanine
- Fish Oil
- Multivitamins (sometimes)
