The most precious asset in an active shooter event is time. You need time to run/evacuate, call 911, barricade in a room, or otherwise evade the attacker. Unfortunately in most of these events, the intruder is in the building in seconds and has the element of surprise. We need to fight back with glass protection systems that slow or stop them from entering the building.
